Henry J. Verdugo, Sr. Right of Way Agent

Henry J. Verdugo has a background in Architecture from Pratt Institute. He is a creative, challenge oriented, problem solver with proven excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical, written and oral communication skills with strong ability to establish positive working relationships.

Mr. Verdugo joined The Urban Group in July 2016, coming from serving as a Property Management Administrator from the Florida Department of Transportation, District 4 where he reviewed and updated the Department’s Excess Surplus Property Report and track sales and leases, organized and maintained property documents including leases, deeds, easements, covenants and restrictions for the Department. Currently, Mr. Verdugo is successful in marketing and closing over 1.3 million dollars in Department surplus property.

  • Role in the project: Mr. Verdugo categorizes and processes encroachments in District 6 Right of Way transactions. In this capacity, Mr. Verdugo assembles the public bid packets and lease transactions for the Department. Mr. Verdugo obtains the property Surplus Requests and generates the corresponding transactions in RWMS.

Run Department Core Process Mapping Reports to track performance measures in Property Management. Update Business Plan items for quarterly reports in Property Management lease inspections cycles. Making recommendations for the purchase and sale of Department owned property and disposal of surplus property. Researching and capturing data in Right of Way Management System (RWMS) for surplus property data and field project reviews for Right of Way Certification, reviewing construction plans reports for various existing and potential Department projects with on-site inspections.
